Ask Dr. Math - the archive, from Drexel BBC Education Maths File - many interactive mathematics logic puzzles - requires Shockwave plug-in Boxer Math - for an individual student, class or school - subscription-based online interactive lessons, quizzes, tutorials aligned to all state standards, sequenced instruction, problem-solving opportunities, 3-12 (3-5, 6-12)CTTE (Center for Technology and Teacher Education) has created Flash "virtual manipulatives" that can be used online or downloaded (Mac/Win) with support materials - Kids and Cookies is for elementary - others are for high school. It would be a good idea to download the directions in .pdf format the game.

Math Songs - this is generally a portal, linking you to resources you can purchase or find elsewhere, but it fills a k-12 gap and is worth a visit.
- National Library of Virtual Manipulatives for Interactive Mathematics - fabulous k-12 resource - many activities require a high speed connection, however
- NCTM Illuminations - in cooperation with MarcoPolo, site offers interactive Math investigations by grade level groupings - Java enabled - topics include patterns, geometry, probability - also contains significant materials for teachers wishing to improve their teaching of Mathematics

- AAA Math - Interactive skills practice and challenge games - k-8 - many require use of AAA Math CD, so be sure to preview before using with students
- ABC Net - Count Us In - from Australia, sensible mathematics interactives
- Aunty Math provides a daily challenge - from the DuPage Children's Museum
- BBC Ks3 Bitesize - Maths - very nice animations bring topics such as shapes, measurement, and early algebra to life for students - sound free - can be used with gifted and grade 3+
- Bowling with Numbers - practice math facts and operations with digits 1-9 - interactive game
- BrainWave Puzzles - puzzles for pre-K as well as k-4 - shapes and pattern recognition - provides reward and explanation (small text)
