This half-day workshop for Macintosh users explores the freeware application called ButtonTalk. Participants will collaborate to write and publish to the Web a short piece of hyperliterature (fiction or non-fiction, or a combination format). Each will leave with a project begun and the software on CD. Topics covered will include:

1. Lesson planning - how to use this tool in the classroom
2. Does it fit with your network?
3. Publishing
4. Other tools for writing hyperfiction and hypernonfiction - examples, web resources - including: PowerPoint, web pages, WIKIs

"Break out sessions" will focus upon:

1. Assessment
2. How can students use this tool?
